CVS Health is venturing into dental care with plans to provide an especially new enamel-straightening service.
The drugstore chain said Thursday that it’d add SmileDirectClub locations to its shops, where clients can have their teeth straightened without an in-man or woman visit with a dentist or orthodontist. That lack of an office go-to has drawn criticism from orthodontists.
CVS Health and different drugstores have been pushing in recent years to feature extra offerings in their safe locations to assist their customers in getting healthy. Under the CVS plan, clients get a 3-D photograph of their mouth made through a SmileDirect worker at one of the drugstore places.
