New Delhi: Air India’s system was restored on Saturday, hours after operations had been hit that early morning, the airline’s server suffered a worldwide shutdown. Officials said the airline’s SITA server had turned down since 3.30 a.m., delaying flights internationally.
Air India CMD Ashwani Lohani stated the offerings had been restored. Operations are anticipated to be not on time due to a cascading effect.
The situation had led to serpentine queues at airports, with numerous flyers taking to social media to vent their frustration. A Twitter consumer named Manish said the airline needs to take duty for its passengers.
This is the second time the airline has been hit because of a technical snag. A similar incident ultimately affected services globally.
