Exercise Tiger: families mark seventy fifth anniversary of Devon battle tragedy

Families of American sailors and squaddies who lost their lives in a disastrous 2d international conflict exercise off the British coast will this weekend be part of veterans, dignitaries and nearby humans to mark the seventy-fifth anniversary of the tragedy.
More than 600 personnel misplaced their lives in Exercise Tiger, a rehearsal for D-day, on 28 April 1944, however, the botched operation turned into protected up for decades and only came to mild forty years later while a hotelier located a Sherman tank misplaced within the exercise on the seabed and hauled it to shore.
